At Tofo beach, in Mozambique's province of Inhambane, a social surfing project is changing the lives of underprivileged children in the community. Boys and girls who live in front of the sea and didn't know how to swim. Who spent their childhood in domestic tasks and didn't play.
In four years, Tofo Surf Club, this non-profit organization, has helped children and teenagers gain confidence and self-esteem. It has given them goals and life projects. It has sat them on school benches. It has taught them how to play.
