In a small countryside village, a man in love - Xavier (César Mourão) - and his best friend - Julião (Kevin Dias) - come up with a crazy plan to lure his beloved Laura (Júlia Palha) from Lisbon. Against all odds, the plan works and then the real problems begin, giving rise to a wild romantic comedy in which two worlds collide. 'COULD HAVE WAITED FOR AUGUST', is César Mourão's first feature film.
