SYNOPSIS

When Mia decides to abandon her promising career as a lawyer in the city and move temporarily to her parents, she has no idea that she will find two villages in a constant war, amplified now by the construction project of a dam that will destroy one of them. On the other side of this project is Renata Jones, with a secret revenge plan to destroy both villages. But it's also the son of the mayor, Afonso, a passionate engineer who believes on the benefits of the dam. Even on different sides of the barricade, Mia and Afonso can't help but fall in love with each other.

Yet, there's more than a project that separates them: living in rival villages, they're parents can't stand each other and Mia's ex-boyfriend is willing to fight for her.

Will Afonso and Mia be able to build new bridges and burn old ones in the name of love?
