Next Door brings three episodes in a TV movie format – ‘Hope’, ‘Love’ and ‘Fear’ – each with a different storyline, but with the same realistic background, that aims to show how outsiders can play an important role in breaking free from a situation of domestic violence, presenting the subject from an unusual perspective, while continuing to serve as a warning for victims of this kind of situation to feel more comfortable in coming forward to report it.
